In January 2002, Mr. Pereyra Lucena joined the firm Gatica & Chasseing - Abogados as a partner.
Born on November 28th, 1957 in Buenos Aires -Argentina-, he received his J.D. from the Law and Social Sciences School of the National University of Buenos Aires in 1984. From 1978 to 1987, Mr. Pereyra Lucena worked at the National Judicial Power in the Special Court of Civil and Commercial Jurisdiction.
After that, he starts working for the law firm "Lanfranco & Mariño" where he participated in the contentious matter department until 1994. Then, he joins a project of Aguas Argentinas, a company that was awarded the drinking water and sewerage services for the city of Buenos Aires and a big part of the conurbation. He was not only in charge of the contentious office of the Law Department Management but also of the supervision of external law firms, as well as of legal counseling.
When in 1997 Aguas Argentinas ´ operator (Suez) is selected to provide the drinking water service in the city of Córdoba, Mr. Pereyra Lucena is offered the post of Manager of the Law Department of the new company, and holds that position until he joins the firm Gatica & Chasseing – Abogados in 2002.
Mr. Pereyra Lucena has gained a lot of experience in administrative and corporate law, mainly in the area of public services and in the relationship between the service provider, the state, and the clients.
